Exhibit Research and Writing
As a freelancer, I work with Design Dimension, Inc., on exhibits for visitor centers and history museums. I research content, write text, acquire images, and help develop exhibit concepts. Past projects include the Discover Uwharrie Visitor Center and a history exhibit in the Cheek/Clark Building on the UNC campus. Current projects (2022) include Beech Bluff County Park in Wake county, North Carolina, and the African American Archives of Williamsburg in South Carolina.

North Carolina State Parks
I helped develop exhibit concepts, wrote the exhibit labels, and acquired images for visitor centers at three North Carolina state parks:

North Carolina Museum of Life and Science
I designed a take-home math kit for families that was part of a math exhibit at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham. I also developed hands-on activities for visitors at a staffed lab in a health exhibit at the museum.
