I write about all kinds of science in all kinds of media, including online and print articles, books, curricula, and exhibits. I am co-author of "Exploring the Geology of the Carolinas: A Field Guide to Favorite Places from Chimney Rock to Charleston" (UNC Press, 2007).
My favorite topics are earth sciences, natural history, animals and animal behavior, engineering, medicine, and genetics.
